Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy Events Added To Appearance Schedule

     I've added two events to my appearance schedule, both taking place at the new Austin, TX store of Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy.

     First, I'll be participating in the store's Free Comic Book Day / Star Wars Day celebration on May 4; I'll be signing from 10 am to 2 pm. Then, later in the year, on October 26-27, Michael A. Stackpole and I will bring our Inner Circle Writers' Seminars series — a crash course in the craft and business of fiction for aspiring writers — to the store.

     I'm very much looking forward to both events.

ArcherRat Releases Plotting: A Novelist's Workout Guide

     On Friday, February 8, at the SheVaCon convention in Roanoke, VA, I debuted Plotting: A Novelist's Workout Guide, my long-in-the-making volume on the craft of plotting novel-length fiction (and the first in what I hope will be a series of Novelist's Workout books).

     This, my first nonfiction book, and the first book-length release from ArcherRat Publishing, includes pretty much everything I teach about plotting in the seminars I conduct around the country, particularly those conducted with Michael A. Stackpole, and much more besides. At 120,000 words, it includes a hefty amount of advice, and it's a good deal at $9.99.
